Jared W. Slater has been a member of Nemecek & Cole since April, 2018.
In just the first few years of his practice, he has obtained complete defense verdicts at trial and favorable results on dispositive motion and in mediation. In doing so, Jared’s clients have lauded him for his personal approach to each of their cases.
Since joining Nemecek & Cole, he has focused his practice on defending labor and employment actions including claims for wage and hour violations, harassment, and discrimination both in the individual and class action arenas. In addition, Jared devotes a significant portion of his practice to defending professionals whose former clients bring claims against them.
Before joining Nemecek & Cole, Jared defended legal malpractice, employment, and personal injury actions for two years at the national law firm of Thompson Coe Cousins & Irons, LLP where he gained substantial trial experience.
